PHYTORGAN presents the first results of the NanoShield scientific project
The NanoShield conference was dedicated to the presentation of the long-awaited results of PHYTORGAN’s scientific project NanoShield. The project, which has been in progress for three years, has yielded its first results, offering optimism to the agricultural sector for the existence of alternative plant protection products to be produced in Greece.
The event took place at Theoxenia Palace on Wednesday 14 June 2023, where notable scientists, researchers and partners gathered.The event highlighted PHYTORGAN’s strong commitment to broaden the borders of its expertise and promote innovation.
The scientific project, which involves a team of renowned researchers from two prestigious research institutions in Greece supported by cutting-edge technologies, the National Research Foundation and the Benaki Phytopathological Institute, is dedicated to fighting diseases while increasing the vigour of plants. Through experimentation, data analysis and collaboration with key partners, Phytorgan has successfully unlocked new knowledge that can be used in practice, offering a valuable means of crop protection focused on sustainability and consumer safety.
During the presentation, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the results, methodologies and the impact of the project. Distinguished scientists presented their research, highlighting the practical applications and potential impact of this technology in the agricultural sector. The event was enriched by interesting questions and panel discussions, which enabled everyone to benefit from its interactive nature.
