Description
BETA is a fruit setting regulator which belongs to the category of the synthetic auxines, which improves the fruit setting in tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, courgettes, beans and strawberries.
Synthetic auxines act similar to the natural ones and stimulate the increase and the elongation of the cells of the plants.
BETA, by reducing the blossom fall to the minimum, induces an improvement of the fruit setting and as a result the forcing of the crops and the increase of the production.
DOSE: 100-160 ml of the formulation in 100 litres of water
• It is applied by spraying or immersion of the open flowers.
• Applications, 3 overall, start from the beginning of the blossom and are repeated every 10-15 days.
• The high dose is applied when there are low temperatures. But do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not spray during the warm hours of the day and especially, at tomato, when the night temperature exceeds the 15 oC
• Do not spray the leaves and the growing stem of the plants (it causes non-reversible leaf roll) PREHARVEST INTERVALS (PHI): 15 days
COMPATIBILITY: Because of the way that it is applied, the combination with other formulations is not recommended.
Also, you shouldn’t apply Sulphur 1 week before and 1 week after the application with BETA.
